Changes are being made to facebook, and new programs and/or tools are being tested on Twitter. In Facebook, groups will now be labeled either “Public” or “Private” to eliminate confusion from the previous labeling. Also, users can no longer start a FB chat. And, existing chats can still be viewed but you can no longer chat. Twitter is testing many tools including a program that makes it easier for you to follow to topics you are interested in, a “Temporary Snooze” application, new tools for filtering Direct Messages, following up on DM’s, and replying to individual tweets.
